LinkedIn → Pardot Lead Integration

Lung Tumor Playbook Campaign — Zapier setup to connect LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to Pardot Account Engagement.

Goal

When a new lead submits the LinkedIn Lead Gen form for the Lung Tumor Playbook campaign, the Zap should:

  1. Create (or update) a prospect record in Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
  2. Add the prospect to the designated recipient list
  3. Assign the prospect to the corresponding Salesforce campaign

Once the prospect is on the recipient list, the Engagement Studio program automatically enrolls them and begins the 7-email drip sequence.

Trigger — LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms

Connect LinkedIn Ads and select the Lung_Tumor_Playbook form

Action 1 — Create Prospect in Pardot

Connect Pardot and map all fields

💡 Click the dropdown next to each field and select the matching value from the trigger data (prefixed with "1. Questions").
Step 2d — Test the Action
  • 8Click the Test tab → Test action
  • 9Look for a green checkmark — "Test was successful"
  • 10In Pardot confirm the test prospect appeared with all fields correctly populated
💡 Use a disposable test email like yourname+test@yourdomain.com — Pardot has no sandbox. Delete the test prospect after verifying.

Action 2 — Add Prospect to List

Triggers enrollment in the Engagement Studio AEP

Step 3 — Add Prospect to List setup in Zapier

  • 1Click + to add a second Pardot action
  • 2Action Event: Add Prospect to List
  • 3Use the same Pardot account from Action 1 — no need to sign in again
  • 4Prospect Email: select the email field from the LinkedIn trigger (Step 1)
  • 5List: select NF Lung Tumor Playbook AEP (List ID: 317754). Click Load more if it doesn't appear immediately
  • 6Test this action and confirm the prospect is added to the list in Pardot
⚠️ This step must come after Action 1. The prospect must exist in Pardot before they can be added to a list. Once added, the Engagement Studio automatically enrolls them and Email 1 sends within minutes.

Testing Checklist & Activate

Validate everything before turning the Zap on

Submit a test lead through the LinkedIn form
Confirm prospect appears in Pardot within 5 minutes
Confirm prospect added to NF Lung Tumor Playbook AEP list (ID: 317754)
Confirm all field mappings correct (Email, First Name, Last Name, Company)
Confirm Salesforce campaign membership created (Campaign ID: 191046)
Confirm Engagement Studio enrolled the test prospect at Step 1
Confirm Email 1 delivered to test prospect inbox
Delete the test prospect from Pardot after verification
Turn Zap ON
⚠️ Zapier task volume: each lead = at least one task. Confirm your Zapier plan handles expected ad campaign volume before going live.
